日本発の30曲入りというおバカなLP盤。あの大瀧詠一氏監修というまちがいのない逸品でした。現在でもこれ以上のものはないです。

59年にVirgil Johnson（高校の英語教師）が中心となり、Clarence Rigsby・Robert Thursby・William Solomon・Mark Princeが結成。Roy Orbisonの協力で、ナッシュビルのMonumentレコードと契約し、That lucky old sunでデビューする。Mountmentでの2枚目となったTonight (Could be the night) が全米トップ40（ポップチャート第26位・61年5月）にランクインし、大ヒットとなった。続く Laugh（Roy Orbison・Joe Melson共作）が彼等の最後のチャートインとなった。その後、Monumentから6枚のシングルを発表した。
