yTakaoka family genealogy in Izumo and Tajima, Japanz
yFounderzTakaoka Hachiro Saemon-no-jyo MINAMOTO no MUNEYASU
yBirthplace of family namezTakaoka-mura of Japan Izumo state Kamdo county En'ya-no-sato
yLineagezThe Takaoka family is a race that arose from Japanese 59th Emperor UDA's descendant's MINAMOTO family.
They are relatives of Sasaki families who lives in Izumo, Japan.
Sasaki YOSHIKIYO's son was Oki YASUKIYO. YASUKIYO's 8th son was Hachiro MUNEYASU.
Because the MUNEYASU had become a lord in Takaoka-mura of Japan
Izumo state Kamdo county En'ya-no-sato, the family name was named Takaoka.
yHistoryzRelative's Marquis En'ya Hangan TAKASADA was killed on the suspicion of the rebellion on April
3, 1341(Ryakuo 4th). Afterwards, they became marquis Yamana TOKIUJI's vassals.
After the civil war in 1392(Meitoku no Heiran), they moved to Tajima for a while.
However, because they had been appointed to the magistrate in Bingo that was Marquis Yamana's
territory soon, they went to the state, and they became a lord from generation to generation.
Because Oda Uhu's soldiers invaded Tajima in 1580(Tensyo 8th), and a lot of castles in this state had
burnt fast, the state inside was confused.
Because Takaoka Chikuzemnokami KUNISADA's elder brother Sasaki Saburo-zaemon was a knight of the
En'ya Suounokami TAKAKIYO who is the Kame-ga-jyo(Castle of Turtle) lord in Tajima state Futakata county Asei,
Chikuzemnokami KUNISADA came in haste from Bingo, became reinforcements, and battled against
Hashiba Minonokami(HIDENAGA).
They have retreated to the Tottori castle in Inaba because they did not win
though they battled.
They counted on marquis Yamana TOYOKUNI who was the Tottori lord first.
However, Marquis TOYOKUNI saw, and feared Hashiba's soldiers in August of the same year.
And, he took small number of vassals, and ran away from the castle quickly quietly in
the middle of the night. In addition, he tonsures, renames to Zenko, goes to Hashiba Minonokami's base,
and has given up.
Chikuzen'nokami KUNISADA did not consent to these marquises' acts.
Therefore, he served TSUNEIE (He was a son of Fukumitsu lord Kikkawa TSUNEYASU in Iwami.) who had come
to the Tottori castle next January (in 1581). When defending in the Kariganeyama castle in Inaba,
Chikuzen'nokami was killed.
In a word, it was useless because there were quite a lot of numbers of enemies.
General En'ya Suounokami, General Nasa Yamatonosuke(Nippon'nosuke)
and Sasaki Saburoemon committed suicide in the Maruyama castle in this state on October 24 of the same year...
