About Eirokuen

Thank you for vising our website. Eirokuen is an art studio located in a historical city, Kyoto, Japan, and it is founded and owned by Japanese kimono artist Masahiro Nakagawa. It produces custom-made kimonos and wholesale kimonos. Every kimono is made carefully by hand by the artist, and each of them is an impressive work of art. Eirokuen also provides an opportunity to learn about Yuzen techniques for those who are interested. Carrying on Japanese traditional crafts arts to the future generations is our mission.
