TAKUYA -Whogets- MORITA
Vocal, Keyboards(Roland-JV, etc...), Words, Music Compose & Arrangement

The band leader.
He started to play guitar at 9, piano at 12. For keyboard, he is influenced by K.Emerson, D.Stewart, F.Gulda. For vocal, influenced by G.Lake, D.Silvian, classics and chanson. And also he is inspired by science of society and complexity, he creates original music.
Besides Quaser he works for arrangement of Japanese traditional music and dance.

MASAMI KATSUURA / Guitar
MASAMI KATSUURA
Guitar(Godin & Fender)

He came just after Hanshin-Awaji earthquaske. He started electric guitar at 15. Inspired by hardrock and metal guitarists as R.Blackmore, Y.Malmsteen. His original guitar-phrasing is one and only, And legato sound is praised "Holdsworthy!" in some music magazines abroad. He supplies metal tastes to Quaser sounds.

HIROAKI FUJII / Bass
HIROAKI FUJII
Bass(SystemCraft Custom Bass)

In the end of 2002, bassist Shima("Sixnorth") showed his student Fujii to Morita. It did't take long for Fujii to be official member. Besides Quaser, he plays at instrumental-prog band "Show-Yen". He is famous as prog CD collecter and his progressive rock music mailing list.

KAZUO KATAYAMA / Drums
KAZUO KATAYAMA
Drums(Tama, Paiste) & Engineering

He is famous in Kansai music-scene as a former drummer of MIDAS, Magdalena, Mugen. His drumming sounds like A.White or Bonzo.
Also He is an sound engineer, user of Emagic Logic. He has worked for many recording and mastering of classic music.
He owns Recording Studio "The Experiment Studio" in Sumiyoshi, Kobe.

YOSHIKAZU MATSUURA
Keyboards & Vocal

In 1975 He started Quaser of 1st period with Morita and Nakama. His powerful keyboard play came to be known in the scene. In 1978 He returned Fukuoka-pref to manage music school of his familie's. Also Quaser moved with him. After 1982, the end of 2nd period he has played in many sessions, CM music. And he played as a member of "PRISM" or "RA-MOO". He came to be interested in music education. At last in 1992 he founded Solfe Music School in Fukuoka-pref.
He released solo-album "Asian Black Eyes" in 1998.

KAZUYUKI NAKAMA
Drums

In 1975 He joined Quaser of 1st period.
His dramming style looked like C.Palmer. Now he is a sound engineer in Fukuoka-pref.

KOICHI KORENAGA
Guitar

In 1979 he was found by a director Kamozaki of YAMAHA Music Communications. And he joined Quaser of 2nd period. Yet 19 year young guitarist, his play was outstanding.
In 1980 Quaser moved to Tokyo, so he entered university in Tokyo. After 2nd period, he played as a player, arranger, producer. 1985-1991, he joined "REBECCA". Next he joined "Baby's Breath". For other works, he played with ASKA, Misato Watanabe, Takashi Utsunomiya, Ayumi Hamasaki, & others. Now he is an artist of Halftone Music.

EISHO KAMOZAKI
Drums

In 1979 He was a director of YAMAHA Music Communications, And he joined Quaser of 2nd period with Korenaga. After the end of 2nd period in 1982, he returned to his hometown Hiroshima-pref. He worked as a producer of FM etc.
But he died of a cancer in 1996.

2nd album "Remergence" contains a farewell song "Mr.Duck".

YUSAKU NAKATSUHAMA
Bass

In 1994 just after release of "Out from Quaser", He joined Quaser of 3rd period as a live band. But in 1999 He left after recording of "Remergence".
He played allround style bass. So he dedicated to diversity of Quaser music.

MICHAEL YAMAGUCHI
Bass

He played fretless bass. Influenced by various music like classics, jazz and folk.
After Nakatsuhama he joined Quaser of the 3rd period. left in 2001. After Quaser he plays in folk-jazz band "Les Minettes", acoustic unit "Fuurai", little music workers collective "YS-11". Especially his website "Michael's View" is very nice site.
