About the album ":46" :46 is comprised of songs that document the real life experiences of people affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. Their stories were gathered by founding member Morita, who has been supporting them as they recover from the disaster. The album includes a song documenting the struggle of a fire chief of Rikuzentakata, a song about the search for the light of hope, a tribute song to "Fukushima", and more. There is a strange coincidence between the Hanshin-Awaji and East-Japan Earthquake. The time they occurred. 5:46 and 14:46 respectively. It can also be noted that the time of 9.11 was 8:46.
Feeling that there may perhaps be an element of revelation to this, Quaser decided on the album title, ":46". Comprised of a 5 song mini-album plus 4 bonus tracks, this album is Quaser's 6th release. The 4 bonus tracks are a suite of songs titled Promised land 1-4. Promised land is a suite about the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, and was originally recorded in 2003. Quaser has re-recorded all 4 songs of Promised Land as bonus tracks for this album. Quaser's music is "sharp and heavy Symphonic Rock". The guitar brings heavy metal elements to the mix, resulting in a sound that can also be described as Progmetal.
