What's "NEW UKIYO-E"?

Ukiyo-e is a Japanese art and typified by Hokusai and Hiroshige. In Tatuharu's opinion, Ukiyo-e originally used to be a pop art using the newest technology of those days. He believes that, nowadays, Ukiyo-e isn't just to be preserved and to be passed on to the next generation the same way as traditional crafts and antiquities.
Therefore, he invented modern Ukiyo-e using the latest technology such as PC, digital camera, and printer (=NEW UKIYO-E).
In Tatuharu's work, however, he carefully finishes every work not only by relying on digital tools like PC but also, in a way almost the same process as done by hand, by spending a lot of time one by one. Consequently, each work is full of his love.
