1995 Carless (UK) (data by AFS*)
Bush, Single
Ben Jammin makes a short-jointed, compact bush. It is highly floriferous
and self-branching.
The white tube, and sepal whose underside is medium orchid, and dark purple
corolla, which looks almost black in late autumn, are an excellent combination.
The foliage is medium to deep green.
Unfortunately, Ben Jammin is too heat-shy to survive the harsh summer in
most part of Japan. Even a young cuttings (young cuttings are more heat-resistant
than matured plants) require some luck to survive.
