Lensa Auto Focus

 

Tulisan ini mencoba menulis tentang lensa auto fokus. Informasi yang disajikan adalah informasi paling sederhana dan mendasar. Contoh lensa yang ditampilkan hanyalah lensa auto fokus periode awal saja. Untuk lensa auto fokus keluaran terbaru, sama sekali tidak akan dibahas disini. Alasannya adalah karena untuk model baru, infonya bisa didapat dengan mudah pada toko atau site produsen kamera yang bersangkutan. Tulisan ini tidak lebih hanya sebagai catatan tambahan atau pelengkap untuk bahasan tentang lensa manual.

IF : Nama makenisme fokus pada lensa. Fokus bergerak di internal lensa sehingga elemen depan lensa tidak ikut berputar. Sangat berguna bagi yang suka bermain filter-filteran. Bagi pemula secara umum, hampir tidak ada pengaruhnya selain harga lensa yang makin mahal.

Kode dan istilah umum pada lensa Nikon :
Nikkor : Istilah resmi untuk semua kamera Nikon
 G : Lensa tanpa ring aparture dan tanpa motor focus.
AF-S : auto focus dengan motor
DX : Lensa yang diciptakan khusus digital format APS-C atau sama dengan Lensa EF-S untuk Canon
D : Auto fokus dengan ring diafragma yang itu berarti bisa dipakai seperti layaknya lensa manual. Lensa ini tidak dilengkapi dengan motor autofocus sehingga tidak bisa digunakan pada kamera nikon terbaru seri tertentu. Lensa AF-S : Auto fokus dengan motor fokus, jadi sama dengan lensa EF kalau di merek Canon.
ED, Nano, : Nama salah satu elemen lensa tambahan
VR (Vibration Resistant) = (AS) Anti Shake = Image Stabilizer (IS)= SR (Shake Reduction)

EF.......: Lensa yang bisa digunakan untuk semua kemera EOS system
EF-S ...: Lensa khusus untuk kamera EOS dengan sensor APS
USM... : Nama motor pada lensa
L......... : Grade tertinggi dari lensa Canon, dibuat untuk mereka yang sangat mengutamakan kualitas.
IS........ : Image Stabilizer = VR (Vibration Resistant) = (AS) Anti Shake = SR (Shake Reduction)

SMC : nama coating pada lensa
DA : lensa yang diciptakan khusus digital

SR = ((Shake Reduction) = Anti Shake (AS)= Image Stabilizer (IS)= VR (Vibration Resistant)

Merupakan perusahaan Third party yang khusus memproduksi peralatan fotografi dan lensa untuk kamera merek tertentu seperti Nikon, Canon, Pentax dan Sony. Berbicara tentang lensa mount, sepertinya cukup mudah untuk diketahui atau ditebak hanya dengan melihat dari merek lensa tersebut. Namun untuk tiga lensa merek ini plus lensa Voiglander, bagi orang awam tentu harus bekerja keras agar bisa mengidentifikasikannya. Jadi dari tulisan dan foto yang saya muat di sini mudah mudah peng-identifikasi-an mount lensa menjadi relatif lebih mudah. Link : Sigma, Tamron, Tokina.

ASP (Aspherical Lens) The aspherical lens complex allows freedom of design, improved performance, a reduced number of component lenses and a compact size.
APO (APO Lens) In order to attain the highest quality images, the APO lens has been made using special low-dispersion (SLD) glass and is designed to minimize color aberration.
OS (Optical Stabilizer) This function utilizes a built-in mechanism that compensates for camera shake. It dramatically expands photographic possibilities by alleviating camera movement when shooting by hand held camera.
HSM (Hyper-Sonic Motor) This lens uses a motor driven by ultrasonic waves to provide a quiet, highspeed AF.
RF (Rear Focus) This lens is equipped with a system that moves the rear lens group for highspeed , silent focusing.
IF (Inner Focus) To ensure stability in focusing, this lens moves the inner lens group or groups without changing the lens' physical length.
Conv (APO Teleconverter EX) This lens can be used with the APO Teleconverter EX. It can increase the focal length and will interface with the camera's AE (automatic exposure) function.
EX (EX Lens) The exterior of this lens is EX-finished to denote the superior build and optical quality, and to enhance its appearance.
DG (DG Lens)These are large-aperture lenses with wide angles and short minimum focusing distances. With an abundance of peripheral illumination, they are ideal lenses for Digital SLR Cameras whilst retaining suitability for traditional 35mm SLRs.
DC (DC Lens) These are special lenses designed so that the image circle matches the smaller size of the image sensor of most digital SLR cameras. Their specialized design gives these lenses the ideal properties for digital cameras, the compact and lightweight construction is an added bonus ! including compact and lightweight construction.
