What's it?

This application download RSS feed from your specified url. And show feed on home screen by appWidget.

System requirement.

• Android 2.0 or later.
• Screen larger than QVGA(320 * 240)
• Internet access.

What's new

• You can show text by custom true type font on sd card. (NOT require root premission!)
• You can setting reload schedule.
• Fix any bug.

Important notice

This application called "RSSer" on application menu and list of "Manage Application".

MUST NOT DELETE, MOVE, AND RENAME TrueType font file use to custom font. If you want to delete, kill process "RSSer" from "Manage Application" menu by Application settings.

How to use.

• 
  Put widget "RSS feed" on home screen.
• 
  Tap text "Click here to setup feed" on put widget.
• 
  When open feed list Activity, open menu and select "Add".
• 
  On add feed dialog, input download feed url and title to show in list. After input, tap "OK".
• 
  Download and show feed info on List, and tap item to show on widget.
• 
  Tap text on widget, show detail of article. Tap "<<" and ">>", show previous/next article in feed.

Main Activity

Opened by "RSSer" application.

List show feed list you added. When tap list item, show items in selected feed.

Opened by tapped widget text.

When tap list item, show items in selected widget.

Menu

Add

Add new RSS feed.

Refresh

Force reload all RSS feeds now.

Preference

Configuration application preferences.

Long tap List Item

Modify

Edit RSS feed url and title on this list.

Remove Feed

Remove tapped feed item.

Add New Feed

Input url of RSS feed that you want download.

Feed Item List

Show feed item summary in selected RSS feed. Show item detail you tap item.

Feed Item Detail

Show Description of selected feed item. If push "Show Web Site" button, open linked article on web browser.

Configure app preference

This screen can configure application preference.

Keep Days

Days to keep feed item from published date.

Reload on Launch

If checked, refresh RSS feed when launch from icon of home screen. If not checked, refresh when tap "Refresh" from menu or automatically refresh on scheduled by "Reload Schedule" menu.

Reload Schedule

Set reload time to checked on list.

Use Custom Font

If checked, use custom true type font specified on "Font File" menu.

• System default font.
• Using custom font. (example: "Consolas" font)

Days to keep feed item from published date.

Font File

Select true type font file on sd card.

Custom Font Size

Setting custom font size. Default font size is 14pt.
