　このアルバムは、トレンド原盤を編集したものです。「Five Brothers」～「Jeru」をジェリー・マリガンが、「Mambo Nothing」～「To Each His Own」をラルフ・アルドリッチとクロード・ソンヒルが編曲しています。極めて進歩的なアレンジメントは、今日聴いても微塵も古さを感じません。素晴らしいモダン・ビック・バンドの秀作です。
　特に、若き日のG・マリガンのペンは冴え、卓越したレイ・ノーマンのテナーが魅了します。そして、このアルバムの極めつけは、「To Each His Own」のバラードです。ピアノの奏でる美しいメロディーとバックのオーケストラが織りなすクロード・ソンヒル・サウンドは、音楽を愛することの至福の悦びを運んでくれます。部屋の灯かりを消して、ひと時のドリーム・タイムをお楽しみ下さい。
