| 楽団名が示すようにヨーロッパで活動するグレン・ミラー・オーケストラ。トランペット、トロンボーン、それにサックス奏者の二人が、グレン・ミラーが率いていたオーケストラの元メンバーだったと云う。 叙情的な、いわゆるミラー・サウンドを表情に富むプレイで表出する。「ムーンライト・セレナーデ」は勿論の事として、「オヤッ！」と思う従来のミラー・オーケストラの印象からは遠い曲も、立派なミラーの世界になっている所に、このオーケストラの実力が伺える。優秀な録音と豊かな表現力で楽しみながら聴くことができた。満足度の高い一枚！ （December 16, 2006） |
