This product is a sword by a famous swodsmith, first generation Tadayoshi of the Hizen sword.
First Tadayoshi was born in 1572(Genki Era, 3) with a former samurai . He calls himself Shinzaemon Hashimoto.
The grandfather did death in battle of the revolt of Shimabara, and father ( Michihiro Ikinokami) died with a grandfather in the same year, too.
Tadayoshi lives in the house of the swordsmith of Nagase village at 13 years old and engages in the forging of the sword.
He goes to Tokyo in the Keicho era first year(1596) and become the pupil of Akitoshi Maichu and returns home in the same 3 years.
and he is transferred to another post under Saga castle. He go to Tokyo again in 1624(Genna Era, 10) . And He receive a Musashi Daijyo at 53 years old
in the Kanei era first year of the change of an era and changes the name to Tadahiro. Same year return home. He died at 61 years old (1632) in Kanei era, 9.
He did a making a sword (1600) for about 30 years from the time for Keicho era, 5 . In addition, his works did not have a trashy work,
and the result was able to be superior to all swords in higher than standard.
Because it cut it for 5 characters signature with "肥前国忠吉(Hizen Koku Tadayoshi)", it is said 5 characters Tadayoshi to the world.
Because He forbade that He cut the Musashi Daijyo of the receipt signature later in the the Nabeshimas of the feudal lord, as for the thing of this
the "肥前国住藤原忠廣" signature, it is called "献上打(Presentation Product".
In addition, the characteristic of this signature shows the side stick of "Hara（原）" of Fujiwara and the side stick of the crown of "Hiro（廣）"
and becomes Thick and conspiciuously . In addition, a point on the crown of "廣" is engraved into lozenge ◆.
