About me (JA3OOK). Ver.1.2 02 Jan. 2018 Ver.1.1 18 Jun. 2017 Ver.1.0 07 Nov. 2015 (The contents of this sentence are same as my page of QRZ.COM) This is JA3OOK. Handle is "Toshi". I was born in October 1945. It was the year that finished 2nd World War. My parents named me "toshi-kazu". The meaning is a smart man making effort for realization of the peace. Then I write about my ham radio. I got absorbed in the make of the germanium radio and one transistor radio in the days of the elementary school and I got absorbed in make of five tube's superheterodyne medium wave receiver and audio amplifier at the age of a high school student. It used 6BE6-6BA6-6AV6-6AR5-5MK9 for receiver. 6BM8 for audio amplifier. Because I was brought up in the country away from the city, I knew ham radio, but was far-off another world. After I appeared in the city, I acquired a license of the ham radio for the first time at 22 years old. The photograph of that time is this.

It was pretty good, and usable. I became crazy about domestic QSO and local chew the rag.
My 1st foreign QSO was KG6APP in guam. It was 15m SSB, was 25 years old.
Unlike now, what we exchanged for QRA and QTH was common. I was difficult to say it.
I was tense and was frantic. A cold sweat flowed. I feel nostalgic for it now.
Thereafter I became a captive of DX.
I worked as programmer and system engineer of the computer since I was young.
and I already retired.
I enjoy ham radio and farmer. I bring up vegetables in a small field.

A characteristic is to do most QSO by remote control.
I am operating CW,SSB RTTY by remote control from the 50km away place.
In CW, the transmission of the free sentence is possible.
Of course I can simplify turn of the antenna and ON/OFF of liner amplifier,
and automaticly change the band of antenna and liner amplifier, too.
And,Security system always works.
These are 3 boards becoming the basis of the remote control.
Left board : CW-VOX board. Generate CW key-down signal by CW-monitor-tone.
Central board : Automatic band select(ABS) board. The board analyzes TS-590 pc command.
And it select the antenna relay corresponding to the band.
Furthermore, it generate CI-V DATA for PW-1 and BAND DATA for FL-7000.
It was designed with micro computer "PIC" and was programed C-language by me.
Right board : Swichi board of antenna rotate by internet.
