アイフェルの山間にあるニュルブルクリンク。ここは、シューマッハ兄弟の育った町,ケルペンのすぐ近くに位置している。海抜800 mという山間に位置するため、レースは天候の影響を非常に受けやすい。変わりやすいコンディションと予測できないシチュエーションが特徴のグランプリである。
